Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a holistic medicine which uses specially prepared, highly diluted substances (given mainly in tablet form) with the aim of triggering the body’s own healing mechanisms.

Discovered by a German doctor Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago, homeopathy is based on the principle of “like treats like” – that is, a substance which can cause symptoms when taken in large doses, can be used in small amounts to treat similar symptoms.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a subtle and yet profound healing treatment that works directly with the body, and helps its natural capacity to self repair.

With its roots in the field of Osteopathy, Craniosacral therapy encompasses the whole person and their story; enhancing physical, psychological and emotional well-being. This is met by inviting the whole body to deeply rest by through light and relational touch, this subtle process allows client’s whole body to deepen into a state of restoration where imprint patterns in the system such as anxiety, fatigue and chronic pain begin to soften, expand and free up - promoting health, immunity resilience and vitality.

Cupping

Cupping therapy is a widely used technique used throughout Eastern medicine traditions, but also in other cultures from North Africa to Eastern Europe. It involves placing glass (or silicon) cups directly onto the skin under which a vacuum is created, causing a suction which draws the skin and tissue upwards and away from the body to increase the flow of blood and fluids (a bit like a reverse massage, where the skin is pulled up instead of pushed down).

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

SFH is a type of ‘talking therapy’, that combines the use of psychotherapy with hypnosis. Hypnosis or ‘trance’ is a very natural, relaxing state, encouraged by using guided relaxation, where the mind can relax and then focus on thoughts and suggestions that might be useful.

Bowen Technique

Bowen Therapy is a hands-on treatment which is suitable for everyone. There is no vigorous manipulation, which makes it kind to those who are sensitive to pressure. It is sometimes called the homeopathy of bodywork.
Bowen practitioners treat clients from the very young to the very elderly, and increasingly, in palliative care. Specially trained practitioners can offer Bowen to horses and pets.

Facials

A little luxury goes a long way! Melt away stress and tension for a little while with a beautiful facial. Gently cleansing and exfoliating, using hot and cold compresses and applying rose water clay mask to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

As the mask dries you will receive an arm/hand massage or foot/lower leg massage, your choice. After washing away the mask we finish with deeply relaxing aromatherapy face and scalp massage .
